Vehicle robotics or Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV’s) are increasingly the subject of extensive media stories predicting the rise of fully autonomous fleets or lorries or more typically local taxis in a city environment. The applications are of course varied with advance control systems incorporating advanced optical vision systems being built into even mainstream cars already.
